Nell Valentine is a graduate of Mississippi State University and holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. Since 2002, she has worked as a team leader and Co-PI of numerous grants within the Social Science Research Center. Currently, she is Co-PI on the Preschool Development Grant Birth to 5 for the Mississippi Department of Human Services. This program aims to improve access to high-quality early care and education for children from birth to age five. Her research has been published in the Journal of the Mississippi Medical Association, Journal of Child and Family Studies, and Survey Practice.
