Melissa Luckett
Melissa Luckett serves as a Program Manager. In this role, she is responsible for the overall management of the Project ECHO to Expand Rural Developmental Health Training and Technical Assistance (ECHO RDH), funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration. Project ECHO RDH seeks to increase the developmental/behavioral health knowledge amongst early childhood professionals and families in Mississippi. Ms. Luckett ensures the project’s goals and objectives are met by supporting the implementation and tracking of deliverables within a specified timeline. In addition to Project ECHO, Ms. Luckett contributes to the Preschool Development Grant Birth to Five Renewal Strategic Plan, funded by the Mississippi Department of Human Services, by providing writing, editing, quantitative and qualitative research assistance. Prior to joining the SSRC, she was a curriculum specialist and project director at Mississippi State University’s Research and Curriculum Unit.
Ms. Luckett holds a B.A. in Political Science and a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems and Workforce Development at Mississippi State University.
